My son started Minecraft Mod Design 1 course.
Following the instructions on video, created the minecraft server.
The interface on the video look very different from the current website.
Unable to find the skin editor.
Started the first project with moving on start and say blocks.
Saved and deploy.
Went to minecraft but I don’t see the mod in the server.

We are having the same issues. Everything other than skins we are unable to locate in the game. The only reason we can locate skins is because we are able to upload it via the Minecraft.net site.
agreed, we have created several different block mods and saved &deployed them to the private server. they do not function when logged into the sever.
the interfaces are also 110% different than in the videos - which is super problematic even for me as an adult trying to help locate items.
the server says “mods added” with the date and such but no amount of disconnect or reconnect makes a difference.
